The frames and poles of Jobek hammocks come exclusively from FSC® certified plantations in southern Brazil. The wood species is carefully selected and only the hardest outer layers are used, coming from trees that are at least 25 years old.

The JOBEK Story

In the late 1980s, two German brothers named Josef and Barney Kopf (JoBeK), put their entrepreneurial idea into action. They started in their garage and later added supports,
accessories, etc.
In 2015, "Jobek do Brasil" stopped working with its previous partner Hatteras Hammock and changed its logo to JOBEK. JOBEK continues to use exclusive woods with FSC certification and qualitatively from now on produces only high quality hammocks: JOBEK has replaced its production company where better material is processed that does not fade and stain easily, as well as being mold resistant and UV resistant.
