The NDT International Story
Geert Jansen started selling potting soil in 1968 together with his wife Bep Jansen under the name NDT Nederland B.V. (Dutch German Turf Products). But soon Geert saw a gap in the market: Flower pots. When he took potting soil to southern Italy to ship it to Saudi Arabia, he took another load of pots with him. Later, NDT began doing business with factories in Europe and Asia, and quickly sold its products in both the Netherlands and Western Europe. Soon, Bep and Geert's children, Charlotte, Bart and Jasper Jansen, joined the company. What started as a Saturday morning job in the warehouse eventually became a serious role in the company for each of them. In 2005, the NDT pottery was taken over by Charlotte, Bart and Jasper. After that, sales soon went global. NDT International became a household name! Today, Bart and Jasper are still at the helm of the company. A true family business, where the third generation is now active.
